Education Agents
An education agent is an individual or organisation that assists international students in finding and applying to education providers in Australia. Education agents can offer advice on suitable courses, help with the application process, and provide information about living and studying in Australia.

Key things to know about education agents:
-
Using an education agent is optional. You do not have to use an agent to find a course or apply to Access Recognised Training Australia. Many students prefer to apply directly and work with our admissions team.
-
If you choose to use an agent, choose wisely. Select an agent who is reputable and, ideally, officially recognised by your chosen education provider. Always ask questions and be clear about any fees or commissions involved.
-
Education agents must provide accurate and honest information. They should not make false promises about visas, work rights, or permanent residency.
-
Education agents are not licensed migration agents. They cannot provide immigration or visa advice unless they are also registered with the Migration Agents Registration Authority (MARA).
If you would like to apply through an education agent, you can check with us for a list of our authorised agents. If you have any concerns about the advice you receive, please contact our admissions team directly.
