  1. SITXFSA005 Use hygienic practices for food safety; and 

  2. SITXFSA006 Participate in safe food handling practices 

Food Safety Supervisor

This Food Safety Supervisor training course is designed for people intending on acting as a Food Safety Supervisor in their workplace in any state or territory except NSW. 

This course satisfies the requirements of the recent changes to the Australian New Zealand Food Standards Code – Standard 3.2.2A – 11  that requires category one and two businesses to appoint a certified Food Safety Supervisor.  

Course Duration

The online Food Safety Supervisor course takes approximately 5 hours to complete and is valid for 5 years. After five years you will required to re-do the course.  

About the Course

This course describes the performance outcomes, skills and knowledge required to use personal hygiene practices and to handle food safely during the storage, preparation, display, service and disposal of food. The aim is to prevent contamination of food that might cause food-borne illnesses. 

Certification

You will receive an e-copy certificate to your nominated e-mail account. Hard-copy certificates can be purchased for a cost of $25. Please use the Contact Us feature to request a hard copy certificate.
